About me
Hey! I’m Leo. I hold a Diplôme d’Ingénieur (Master of Science) from École Centrale de Lyon. I’m also a Mechanical Engineer alumni from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and currently work as a machine learning engineer while doing research in my free time.
During my time in France, I worked at Amazon and interned at BNP Paribas’s Data & Analytics team. In my senior year, I received a São Paulo Research Foundation fellowship to conduct research at CRUNCH Group at Brown University.
I possess a strong curiosity and a commitment to investigating novel scientific frontiers at the intersection of Engineering and Applied Mathematics. I have previously worked with Deep Learning and its capabilities in modeling physical systems using techniques such as Operator Learning and Optimal Transport. I have considerable experience developing Deep Learning frameworks and pipelines.
